Taiwan travel
Invited by two Excelia students met through ADRIEM, I went to spend two weeks in Taiwan with a friend in the spring of 2019.
The welcome by the two families were friendly and they did everything to help us discover the country: visits to tea plantations, tourist sites (Sun and Moon Lake, Taroko gorges …) national parks, temples, and taste the local food in the restaurant or in the night markets.
The mixture of traditions and modernity sometimes makes the approach to this culture surprising, but it is a country where you feel good, where people are always ready to help two French women lost on a station platform or metro.
In short, it was a journey full of discoveries and beautiful surprises as we walked the streets of Taipei with the two students.
